We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Associate to join our client's team in Oxford. As a VAT Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of indirect tax services, making significant contributions to client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality indirect tax services, providing valuable advice and guidance to clients.
  • Provide technical expertise on Indirect Tax matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with HMRC, utilizing your negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Participate in the promotion of VAT advisory services, both internally and externally, to drive business growth.
  • Handle HMRC correspondence, calls, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Provide general support to the VAT team as required, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Requirements

  • ACCA qualified or part-qualified with a desire to pursue your CTA in a supportive environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Indirect Tax and relevant regulations.
