Job Summary:

Oakleaf Partnership is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Graduate Programme. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the onboarding process for graduates, organizing events, and managing the graduate rotation. You will also provide guidance on company procedures, manage ER casework, and monitor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Graduate Onboarding: Assist graduates with their onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Event Management: Organize and host events, including the annual graduate Meet and Greet and Induction, to foster a sense of community and belonging among graduates.
  • Graduate Rotation Management: Manage the London graduate rotation, ensuring proper exposure for APC attainment and career development.
  • HR Support: Provide guidance on company procedures to graduates, supervisors, and mentors, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
  • ER Casework Management: Manage and support ER casework, including administration and follow-up.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, absence cases, probation, and sickness notifications, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights for process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Business Partners on graduate-related matters, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Global Rotations: Facilitate global rotations, placements, and secondments, providing opportunities for graduates to gain international experience.
  • Remuneration Process: Support the annual remuneration process, ensuring fairness and equity for all graduates.
  • Payroll Administration: Handle monthly payroll administration for graduates and leavers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Graduate Committee Initiatives: Assist with Graduate Committee initiatives, contributing to the development of graduate programs and events.
  • Transition Support: Support the transition from graduate to Newly Qualified, including APC preparation, contract and payroll administration, and event organization for Newly Qualified Drinks.
  • Reporting: Generate reports for ad-hoc requests, providing insights and data-driven recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Planning and Organizational Skills: Proven ability to plan and organize events, rotations, and other graduate-related activities.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with graduates, supervisors, and mentors.
  • Attention to Detail and Resilience: High attention to detail and resilience, with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm and Self-Motivation: Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a passion for supporting graduates and contributing to the success of the Graduate Programme.
  • Diplomatic and Discreet: Diplomatic and discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proactive and Ownership: Proactive and takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities, with a sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills: Advanced MS Office skills, with the ability to create reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • HR/Early Careers Experience: Experience in HR or Early Careers, with a strong understanding of employment law and graduate training.
  • CIPD Qualified: Ideally CIPD qualified, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
