Our client is a renowned bakery located in a vibrant area, known for producing a wide variety of breads and pastries daily for various clients including supermarkets and local eateries.

BlueArrow is in search of a dedicated bakery assistant / junior baker to support the skilled bakers in the production facility, ensuring high-quality output in substantial quantities.

Their unique sourdough is crafted using traditional methods, baked in small batches with the finest ingredients, ensuring authenticity and flavor.

No preservatives or artificial additives are used, maintaining the integrity of their products.

The techniques and recipes have been passed down through generations, emphasizing quality over speed.

Morning Shift - 8am-4pm

Your responsibilities will include:
* Piping and coating numerous almond croissants.
* Weighing and mixing large quantities of almond cream.
* Assisting with various tasks such as preparing pastry fillings, mixing cookie dough, and baking frozen pastries.
* Weighing and shaping croissant dough for the lamination process, with training provided.
* Afternoon duties will focus on counting and organizing pastries for baking, ensuring efficiency.

Evening Shift - 3pm-11pm

This shift typically involves:
* Packing breads and pastries, labeling, and organizing products for delivery.
* Assisting bakers with weighing and shaping dough.
* General support tasks such as greasing tins and transporting ingredients.

Required Skills & Experience:

Note: This position is not suitable for individuals with nut allergies.

Candidates should possess:
* Previous experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of baking techniques.
* Strong attention to detail while working efficiently.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards, food handling, and dietary regulations.
* A commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards and professionalism.
* Excellent time management skills and motivation.
* Adaptability to new environments.
* Proof of right to work in the UK is essential.
