Job Description:

Data Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Burns Sheehan. As a Data Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a Master Data Management Framework (MDM) to define, manage, and maintain accurate key data across the business.
  • Champion Data governance across the business and work with key stakeholders in a pragmatic and practical fashion to deliver real business value.
  • Ensure that data governance is not just making sure policies and procedures are compliant but that it is in line with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain data standards and quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance initiatives and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience running a data governance program or team.
  • Knowledge of data standards and quality frameworks.
  • Experience with data lifecycle frameworks aligned to regulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
