POSITION: ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER | Salary: Approximately €35,500 annually
All staff members in our dining establishments benefit from a discretionary service charge included in guest bills, with many patrons eager to reward outstanding service.
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled people manager to become part of our expanding team. We seek an individual with strong leadership qualities, a passion for service excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high standards. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily operations in alignment with company policies. Your focus will be on ensuring guest satisfaction through quality service and value, while achieving financial goals for the restaurant:
Cara's Kitchen and Bar offers a welcoming atmosphere for families, serving a diverse menu from breakfast through to late evening. With a children's play area and live entertainment, it’s the ideal spot for families to enjoy classic dishes with a contemporary twist.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading, inspiring, and developing your team. This hands-on management position involves daily operational tasks, including order taking, food service, and ensuring the team provides outstanding service to every guest. Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage sector is preferred. You should be a motivated individual dedicated to the success of the establishment.
You will also contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes team wellbeing, motivation, and morale, while implementing effective performance management strategies to ensure your team is engaged and productive.
WORKING HOURS
You will be contracted for 150 hours over a 4-week period on a flexible schedule. This means your workdays and hours may vary weekly, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours.
As our facility operates year-round, your schedule will include weekends, public holidays, and holiday periods on a rotating basis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Essential qualifications:
Proven leadership abilities Strong financial acumen – including stock management and analysis Proficient in computer use and analytical tasks Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment at a managerial level or as a Deputy Manager in a smaller establishment Excellent communication skillsPreferred qualifications:
