Overview

Nomad Foods is embarking on an exciting journey of significant growth and transformation. To support this initiative, we have launched a project aimed at implementing a Commercial Planning Process and Platform across multiple markets. The goal is to unlock commercial potential through standardization of processes and platforms, optimization of trade spend and promotions, and enhancement of commercial decision-making.

This project will establish a unified approach for commercial decision-making and forecasting, encompassing both volume and value aspects. It represents a highly visible and intricate change management endeavor currently in the execution phase.

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead and assist in the implementation of the process and tools across various markets. This will involve a diverse range of activities, distinct areas of ownership, and responsibilities, while also being a crucial part of the project.

Key Responsibilities

The position is accountable for delivering on assigned responsibilities, supporting the Business Lead, and engaging with the business to address challenges.

Requirement Analysis & Preparation

Collaborate with markets to identify needs and gaps, creating strategies to bridge these gaps for alignment. Assist in Demand Planning, Finance, and Sales process modifications to ensure accurate data availability for system functionality. Work to resolve existing data and process challenges to guarantee successful project delivery.

Training

Partner with third-party vendors to gather comprehensive training materials. Lead training sessions for in-market teams covering all aspects of the system and processes.

Testing

Conduct testing and reconciliation activities to support markets and ensure complete system functionality. Review testing results for modifications and collaborate with third-party vendors to create and implement fixes. Guide markets through local testing according to established scripts, ensuring issues are documented and resolved.

Market Implementation

Provide support during the go-live phase in the market, being present and engaging with users to identify and resolve any issues. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the market and third-party vendors to ensure delivery meets expectations, escalating any issues for timely resolution. Assist with data entry for markets to facilitate go-live processes.

Hyper User Role

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Nomad system landscape, its interactions, and how to utilize Exceedra and certain elements of SAP. Serve as one of the escalation points for system users. Maintain a thorough understanding of system functionality and business processes to either resolve issues or escalate them for further resolution.
