Overview

Nomad Foods is embarking on an exciting journey of significant growth and transformation. To support this initiative, we have launched a project aimed at establishing a Commercial Planning Process and Platform across 13 markets. The goal is to unlock commercial value through the standardization of processes and platforms, optimization of trade spending and promotions, and enhancement of commercial decision-making.

This project will create a unified approach for commercial decision-making and forecasting, focusing on both volume and value aspects. It represents a highly visible and intricate change management endeavor currently in its execution phase.

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead and assist in the implementation of the process and tools across various markets. This will encompass a diverse range of activities and distinct areas of ownership and responsibility, while also being a crucial part of the overall project.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will be accountable for delivering on their specific responsibilities, supporting the Business Lead, and engaging with the business to address challenges effectively.

Requirement Gathering & Preparation

  • Collaborate with markets to identify needs and gaps, creating actionable plans to bridge these gaps and ensure alignment.
  • Assist in Demand Planning, Finance, and Sales process modifications to guarantee accurate data availability for system functionality.
  • Work to resolve existing data and process challenges to ensure successful project delivery.

Training

  • Partner with third-party providers to gather comprehensive training materials.
  • Lead training sessions for in-market teams covering all aspects of the system and processes.

Testing

  • Conduct testing and reconciliation exercises to support markets and ensure complete system functionality.
  • Review testing results for necessary changes and collaborate with third-party providers to create and test solutions.
  • Guide markets through local testing against established scripts, ensuring that issues are documented and resolved.

Market Implementation

  • Provide support during the go-live phase in markets, being present and engaging with users to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the market and third-party providers to ensure delivery meets expectations, escalating any issues for timely resolution.
  • Perform data entry tasks for markets to facilitate go-live processes.

Hyper User

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Nomad system landscape, its interactions, and the use of Exceedra and certain SAP elements.
  • Serve as one of the escalation points for system users.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of system functionality and business processes to either resolve issues or escalate them further for resolution.
