Job Title: Part Time 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with a student with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who requires 1:1 support due to significant Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to develop and implement support programmes for the student.
  • Provide 1:1 support to the student in the classroom and other areas of the school, as required.
  • Assist the student with their academic and personal needs, including SEMH support.
  • Collaborate with the teacher and SENCo to identify the student's specific needs, barriers to learning, and current attainment and progress.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with EHCPs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
