About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create individualized support plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support as needed.
  • Assist in the development of social and emotional skills.
  • Support students in developing positive behaviour and coping strategies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people with behavioural needs, ideally within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and SEMH strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, social work, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
