About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural needs, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Develop and implement behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create individualized support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support as needed.
- Assist in the development of social and emotional skills.
- Support students in developing positive behaviour and coping strategies.
- Previous experience working with young people with behavioural needs, ideally within a school setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and SEMH strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, social work, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
- A supportive and collaborative working environment.
