About the Role

We're seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team at Lounge in Barnstaple. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes to our customers, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to our menu specifications
  • Work closely with our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience, either as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant, or Commis Chef
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety
