Landscape Development Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to coordinate and manage the Walkham Valley Landscape Recovery Scheme development phase. This will involve producing a series of plans that collectively will offer significant environmental outcomes alongside social and business benefits for the scheme members.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the WVLR development phase, including producing plans that offer environmental, social, and business benefits.
- Negotiate, research, and consult with a wide range of stakeholders to develop plans.
- Work closely with the Dartmoor Hill Farming Project Land Management Advisor and line manage two WVLR dedicated staff.
- Help shape and drive forward the Dartmoor Hill Farming Project by providing advice, support, training, and expertise to the Dartmoor rural community.
- Provide and facilitate advice and training across key business themes such as succession, agricultural transition, farm resilience, environment, funding, and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience and excellent administration and communications skills.
- Experience of developing good relationships with farmers and partners, providing agricultural and environmental advice, and understanding of rural issues.
- Track record of securing funding and providing support and training programs.
