Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Centre Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients on arrival and ensure they are checked in manually
  • Answer the telephone and deal with patient enquiries
  • Make appointments, including telephone, follow-up, and urgent appointments
  • Deal with messages from patients, clinicians, or external bodies and take appropriate action
  • Record requests for home visits and pass them on to the duty doctor
  • Handle patient files with confidentiality and maintain accurate records
  • Scan hospital reports and letters and keep patient correspondence up to date
  • Conduct patient and GP Registrar surveys
  • Assist with QoF and Enhanced Services reporting and planning
