About the Role
The Ryan Medical Centre is seeking a highly organized and communicative Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure patients are checked in manually and accurately
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries
- Make appointments, including follow-up and urgent appointments
- Manage messages from patients, clinicians, and external bodies
- Record requests for home visits and pass them on to the duty doctor
- Handle patient files with confidentiality and maintain accurate records
- Scan hospital reports and letters, ensuring up-to-date correspondence
- Conduct patient and GP Registrar surveys
- Assist with QoF and Enhanced Services reporting and planning
Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team, maintaining high professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and plan actions under pressure
