About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including CBT, to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Work closely with school staff to support children and young people, their families, and staff to foster a whole-school approach to mental well-being.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including EMHPs, CYPWPs, and Mental Health Practitioners, to provide comprehensive support to children and young people.
Requirements
  • Consolidated postgraduate experience working in child and adolescent mental health.
  • Experience delivering evidenced-based CBT interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Knowledge of risk management and ability to monitor and assess risk.
  • Good communication, assessment, planning, and recording skills.
