We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor to join our team at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues in schools and colleges.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with school staff to support children and young people with mental health difficulties, their families, and carers. You will undertake assessments, deliver low-intensity group and individual interventions, and provide timely advice to school staff and external specialist services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues in schools and colleges.
  • Work closely with school staff to support children and young people with mental health difficulties, their families, and carers.
  • Undertake assessments and provide timely advice to school staff and external specialist services.
Requirements
  • Consolidated postgraduate experience working in child and adolescent mental health.
  • Experience of delivering evidenced-based CBT interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Knowledge of risk management and ability to monitor and assess risk.
