About the Role
The Cardinal Hume Centre is seeking a skilled Housing Advisor to join our Advice team. As a Housing Advisor, you will provide a structured advice and information service to clients in housing law, housing options, and welfare benefits related to housing and homelessness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist housing caseload and provide emergency housing advice to clients in crisis.
- Work closely with other teams in the centre to ensure clients receive an integrated holistic service.
- Build and maintain good relationships with statutory and other partners to achieve the best outcomes for clients and monitor unmet need locally.
- Contribute to the development of support that meets emergency needs and enables longer-term outcomes.
