About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Sponsorship Director to join our team at the European Sponsorship Association. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our sponsorship strategy, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of sponsorship professionals to deliver high-quality sponsorship programs and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and industry experts.
  • Manage and negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring that they meet the organization's needs and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sponsorship revenue and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sponsorship-related marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our sponsorship programs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, marketing, or management, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
