About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Limited. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective store operations to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential and improve store performance
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and implement process improvements to enhance store operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, stock management, and customer service standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, customer service, and sales growth strategies
