Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of care and education.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of all children.
  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to ensure the nursery meets the needs of all children, including those with special needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+).
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its application in practice.
