About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver focused, outcome-informed interventions for children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure effective support and care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health and wellbeing.

Person Specification
  • Maths and English GCSE minimum grade 4 (or grade C) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, young people, and their families.
