Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Psychological Wellbeing Specialist to join our dynamic Talking Therapies Team. This role is ideal for a dedicated and skilled professional looking to make a significant impact in the field of mental health.
Salary
Band 6 - £35,392 - £42,618 per annum, full-time hours.
Role Responsibilities
As a Lead Psychological Wellbeing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the provision of low-intensity psychological interventions throughout the community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing supervision and support to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) within the team.
- Collaborating with a diverse range of professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
- Implementing evidence-based practices in low-intensity treatments for clients.
- Training and mentoring trainee IAPT psychological wellbeing practitioners and other relevant staff.
- Managing a varied caseload while ensuring high standards of care and support.
Qualifications Required
Essential
- Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as a PWP in a recognized Talking Therapies Service.
Desirable
- Qualification in PWP/IAPT supervision.
