About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, outcome-informed interventions for children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure effective support and care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health and education.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Maths and English GCSE minimum grade 4 (or grade C) or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn in a variety of settings and using a variety of learning methods.
  • Knowledge of the educational system in England.
