Job Title: Director of Quality and Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Quality and Operations to join our team at Marshall Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our quality strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving operational excellence across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a world-class quality strategy, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality and safety regulations.
  3. Conduct quality audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Embed a culture of quality, environmental consideration, and health and safety into the organization through training and guidance.
  6. Manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  8. Provide strategic input to business planning, ensuring quality and operational excellence are integrated into business decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality strategies, management systems, and behavioral-based improvement programs.
  2. Strong understanding of aerospace quality and safety regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of quality professionals.
  4. Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategies to improve quality and operational performance.
  5. Strong commercial acumen, with experience of managing budgets and financial planning.
