Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team at Fujitsu. As a key member of our Agile DevOps team, you will be responsible for delivering applications support and development services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders on application-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance application support and development services.
  • Lead on problem management and investigations, including the creation of high-level problem investigations (HPIs).
  • Read and enhance/fix code to resolve application issues.
  • Identify and deliver service improvements, including automation and release management.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues to develop their technical skills.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in DevOps and application support.
  • 2nd/3rd line support experience, with both customers and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with cloud application support, Linux, messaging systems, database syntax, scripting languages, and CI/CD pipeline deployments.
