Senior Application Support Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team, delivering applications support and development services to our customers. As a key member of our Agile DevOps team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our critical software applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for applications, working with customers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Lead problem management and investigations, including creating HPIs.
- Enhance and fix bugs in code, identifying and delivering service improvements, including automation.
- Manage releases and certificates, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement technical improvements.
Requirements
- DevOps/Support experience in applications.
- Strong technical skills, including cloud application support, Linux, messaging systems, database syntax, and scripting languages.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployments and release management.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to Derry.
