About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team, delivering applications support and development services to our customers. As a key member of our Agile DevOps team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our critical software applications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for applications, working with customers and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Lead problem management and investigations, including creating HPIs.
  • Enhance and fix bugs in code, identifying and delivering service improvements, including automation.
  • Manage releases and certificates, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement technical improvements.

Requirements

  • DevOps/Support experience in applications.
  • Strong technical skills, including cloud application support, Linux, messaging systems, database syntax, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployments and release management.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to Derry.
