Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team as part of a hybrid-based Agile DevOps team in Derry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering applications support and development services to our customers, either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application and system support and enhancements of critical software applications
  • Problem management and investigations, leading on HPIs
  • Reading code and enhancing/fixing bugs
  • Identifying and delivering service improvements including automation
  • Experience in release management and certificate management
  • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues

Technical Skills

Cloud Application support, Linux, Messaging systems - Event streaming, Database syntax, Scripting languages, CI/CD pipeline deployments
