London, Greater London, United Kingdom University of Bristol Full time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of Bristol to work on a project focused on developing personalized neurostimulation interventions for Parkinson's disease and related movement disorders.

About the Project

The project aims to design and test personalized neurostimulation protocols for Parkinson's patients by leveraging the observation that their symptoms improve immediately after engaging in intense physical exercise. We will record patients' neural activity before and after exercise to identify functional connectivity patterns associated with improved movement and cognitive control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop personalized neurostimulation protocols for Parkinson's patients
  • Conduct experiments to record patients' neural activity before and after exercise
  • Identify functional connectivity patterns associated with improved movement and cognitive control
  • Develop and test neurostimulation strategies to facilitate identified patterns

Lab Environment

The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment for research and innovation.
