Research Associate in Vascular-Immune Epigenomics

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team at the British Neuroscience Association. The successful candidate will lead one or more projects to characterise the epigenome of vascular-immune cell types in Alzheimer's disease using patient-derived samples.
Key Responsibilities- Generate single-nuclei CUT&Tag data from patient-derived brain tissue and stem cell model systems.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
- Experience of nuclei isolation, preferentially from brain and/or human tissue.
- Experience of fluorescence-activated nuclei sorting (FANS), and/or FACS.
- Experience of epigenomics and/or single-cell genomic technologies.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in neuroscience, biological sciences, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent research or industrial experience.
