Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum with company vehicle. In addition, enjoy Veolia's comprehensive benefits package.

Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and a 4:30pm finish on Fridays.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing both planned and emergency maintenance for a range of electrical equipment, including heavy and light current systems.
  • Diagnosing and addressing plant defects, suggesting modifications and enhancements as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other departments, including maintenance and operations.
  • Ensuring adherence to the company's Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety Policies, promoting a culture of safety.
  • Maintaining compliance with legal and environmental standards.
  • After training, being available for on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Working with various equipment such as boilers, steam distribution networks, and water treatment systems.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A recognized apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in a continuous process industry.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and maintenance software.
  • Flexibility and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Availability for on-call duties outside regular hours.
  • Experience with control and instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems.
