**Job Responsibilities**

As a Millwright - Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings. Your duties will include:

  • Visually inspecting and testing machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment
  • Listening for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discussing machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines
  • Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installing new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
  • Cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery using rags, brushes, and grease gun
  • Operating cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts

**Basic Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will require millwright skills, including but not limited to:

  • A knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Proficient skills pertaining to welding and fitting
  • A basic knowledge of electrical systems
