You will steer the execution of critical assignments and designated business sectors, providing strategic guidance and overseeing delivery in line with the overarching vision and objectives. You will ensure top-tier service delivery and foster effective engagement with broader industry and professional organizations to enhance Mace's reputation. You will be acknowledged as an authority in PMO and Project Controls, possessing a robust internal and external network (including clients, contractors, consultancies, and other stakeholders). You will report to the PMO & Delivery Commercial Lead. You will collaborate with the PMO Commercial function and the i-PMO Project Controls Director. You will interface with all departments to update the control budget and provide cost guidance. External engagement will be necessary with various stakeholders, including clients and delivery partners. You should ideally have contributed to the development of specialized processes or procedures or authored industry-relevant articles or publications in your area of expertise. You will maintain the Control Budget. You will develop Control Budget Tools. You will conduct EAC reporting and trend analysis from the Affordable Budget. You will manage cost changes from Handover 1 design to Handover 2 design and document movements from the Affordable Budget. You will ensure that the latest design information is accessible to Site Performance Reporting Teams and Planning. You will support i-PMO (MEH program-wide) Project Controls. You will interface with client governance.

You will directly influence the long-term strategic development of a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable future for the business. You will leverage your network to identify talent, lead recruitment efforts, and manage the development, retention, and mobility of personnel, supporting our team members in reaching their highest potential.

Required Qualifications:

Degree Qualification (or Equivalent) Ability to obtain Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership in RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Extensive property or infrastructure project management expertise. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams. Experience in managing relationships with key senior stakeholders. Understanding of how carbon and sustainability considerations will influence the projects you are involved in.

This role will require on-site presence for four days a week as per project requirements.
