Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Lead to join our Consult business. The successful candidate will be a leading advocate of Mace's value of Safety First and will be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and understand the importance of the wellbeing of the people you manage.
  • Interface with all functions to update the control budget and provide cost advice.
  • External interface will be required with several stakeholders including the Client and Delivery Partners.
  • Maintain the Control Budget and develop Control Budget Tools.
  • Ensure latest design information is available to Site Performance Reporting Teams and Planning.
  • Support i-PMO (MEH programme wide) Project Controls.
  • Interface with Client governance.

Requirements

  • Degree Qualification (or Equivalent)
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
