About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our Natural Resources & New Energies team, you will be responsible for leading cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver effective, consistent, assured, and value-adding project controls services to our clients across diverse and complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver project controls services to clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to clients.
  • Define and implement project controls approaches across the project, programme, and portfolio levels.
  • Define and implement effective governance and assurance processes around project controls products.
  • Define scaled, tailored, and integrated approaches for project controls and document these.
  • Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
  • Work with Project and Commercial Management to establish the Supplier Project Controls contract requirements and collaborate with suppliers to integrate and analyze their performance data.
  • Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment, and analyze performance data to provide delivery insight and facilitate delivery decisions.
  • Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
  • Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls team's output.
  • Undertake line management activities including career development and performance management.
Requirements
  • Ability to interact with Senior Management / Leadership members when delivering updates on Performance Management within a complex project/programme environment.
  • Ability to lead a team responsible for defining and delivering performance management cadences on complex projects/programmes.
  • Guide the team on appropriate use of systems and tools in relation to Performance Management, Analysis & Reporting.
  • Excellent communicator to liaise with the client, contractors, and designers.
  • Brings out the best in everyone by helping each other make the most of their potential through proactive collaboration and effective teamwork.
  • Takes responsibility for the development of personal performance and core skill set.
  • A UK driving license or the ability to travel to client sites across the region, as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in the application of several Project Controls disciplines in multiple projects.
  • Practical experience of integrating Project Controls disciplines and the ability to assess the maturity of a team and ways of working.
  • Experience in using some Project Controls software.
