Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities



  • Project a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware and provide excellent customer service to all customers.

  • Greet customers entering and throughout the store, thank customers by name when possible, and ensure a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

  • Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently, answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, and communicate any problems or issues that require management assistance.

  • Build product knowledge and assist customers with store layout and product location, as well as assist with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging of merchandise.

  • Participate in store and Cashier meetings, and adhere to any Store Support Center program or promotion that may require implementation at the cash registers.

  • Keep the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors, neat and clean at all times, and assist with decorating the front end according to the Store Support Center program.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.



Requirements



  • High School or GED equivalent.

  • Cashier experience preferred, customer service experience preferred.

  • Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs), and climbing.



Compensation Details

$12 - $14 / hour
