About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Worker to join our Keeping In Touch team at St Mungo's. As a Senior Worker, you will play a key role in supporting clients who have moved on from our emergency, residential, and short-stay services into independent accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and assess suitable initial referrals to the team, ensuring timely and effective support to clients.
  • Support the team to contact clients at set intervals to carry out assessments and provide guidance on their progress.
  • Provide follow-up advice and guidance as needed, including signposting to specialist services to support clients' recovery.
  • Promote Keeping In Touch to St Mungo's services, preparing clients for move on and ensuring a smooth transition into the community.
  • Develop and maintain reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform service development and improvement.

Line Management

You will line manage the Keeping In Touch Worker, providing guidance and support to help develop the service and promote it to the wider organisation.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for empowering clients to make a success of moving on from services into the community. You will have experience of working with people affected by homelessness, providing advice, guidance, and information to clients who will be at any point within two years of leaving services.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer care and possess a client-focused approach that enables you to assess people's needs and signpost them to suitable services.
