Job Title: Senior Lead Support Worker

Job Summary:

Morgan Hunt Ltd is seeking a dedicated Senior Lead Support Worker to oversee a vital service aimed at providing essential support to vulnerable residents who have experienced homelessness across Pan London. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to help clients access good quality private rented accommodation and plan for their long-term future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of 30 clients with varying support needs, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Organize weekly appointments with each client, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Write clear and concise monthly and weekly reports to document client progress and outcomes.
  • Assist clients with budgeting, financial management, and maintaining their tenancy, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients, empowering them to pursue their goals and aspirations.
  • Promote and facilitate access to education, training, and employment opportunities, enabling clients to transition to an independent lifestyle.

Requirements:

  • Strong record and understanding of delivering effective support services to vulnerable populations, including those experiencing homelessness.
  • Knowledge of key working and case working approaches, including penalization agendas and best practices.
  • Understanding of the complex issues contributing to homelessness and their impact on individuals' lives, with a commitment to providing trauma-informed support.
  • Experience in supporting and supervising casework practice, with a focus on quality and outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
