Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Sales Executive to join our team at GB035 Mercer (UK) Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the corporate sector, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate sector, including large global multinationals and mid-market UK employers.
    • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and identify potential solutions.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Sales and Account Management:
    • Manage a portfolio of clients and prospects, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, consulting, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and concise information and updates.
    • Participate in internal forums and meetings to stay informed about company initiatives and developments.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Participate in training and development programs to improve sales and business development skills.
    • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing initiatives, including campaigns and industry verticals.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Adhere to the Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA.
    • Maintain accurate records and data, ensuring timely entry into Mercerforce.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the corporate sector, with a proven track record of success.
    • Experience in business development, account management, and sales strategy development.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in sales and marketing tools.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
