Position: Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage a personal portfolio of small to mid-sized clients to achieve individual New Business and Renewal Retention Rate targets.
  • Adhere to the company's Sales Quality standards to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Promote additional products and handle inquiries related to new business.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the PMI market, products, and regulations by participating in necessary insurer training.
  • Negotiate premiums effectively with the current insurer and alternative insurers to secure favorable outcomes for clients based on their needs.
  • Document all business interactions, including new and retention activities, in the database daily.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide additional support as needed.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is maintained to guarantee a compliant process.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in Private Medical Insurance.
  • Proven ability in building relationships with Insurers/Providers, Clients, and Account Managers is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Background in Customer Service.
  • Possession of Cert CII IF7, or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
  • Strong numerical and literacy capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly telephone demeanor.
  • Highly organized and capable of performing well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
