About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Field Sales Manager to head up our National field sales function and manage our key account. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Key Accounts, ensuring that all sales activities align with client expectations, and driving performance across both regional and territory teams.

This role requires a strategic leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in field sales management. You will be responsible for the performance and continual improvement of a field force of 150+ sales people, 20+ Territory Managers and 2 Regional Managers.

The roles already exist, so the job is to upskill existing roles and manage weekly churn/expansion intake of circa 20 people a week.

You will also be tasked with upgrading the existing training module and then continually improving and adapting this to refine, with client approval.

This role will be a hybrid between head office (Shoreditch) and being out in the field with Regional & Territory Managers.

Specific Responsibilities
  • New Starter Onboarding: Working closely with the Recruitment Manager and Account Team, overseeing onboarding needs for any new starters prior to training.
  • Ensuring all new starters have a clear pathway to reach set targets during the onboarding period, supporting their line managers with any required development plans and additional training needs.
  • Managing team to onboard candidates from approval of application to training, ensuring completion of Ted portal, with Right To Work, and Payment Details included on profile for approval.
  • Continuous Development - Creation of performance improvement plans for Territory Managers and Regional Managers in the field - governance and documentation of any required development areas.
  • Upskilling Territory Managers and Regional Managers in the field to effectively manage their sales team, ensuring required planning and scheduling is liaised with Client Director and Recruitment Manager to review and feedback on candidates to ensure that quality, effectiveness and retention are always increasing.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement national sales strategies that align with overall business objectives and client requirements.
  • Work closely with regional and territory managers to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded across all regions.
About You

We are looking for a proven experience as a National Field Sales Manager or similar senior sales role. You will have a passion for the industry and be able to clearly demonstrate your proven ability to lead and motivate a large team to achieve ambitious sales targets.

You will be a high-energy 'people person' and a 'detail-oriented' individual. A brilliant and clear communicator, you'll thrive on naturally forging relationships with team members and have a confident and energetic presence.

You will love using the agency Technology Platform to solve problems, meet challenges and streamline processes. You will become a natural advocate and trainer of the tech platform.

Highly presentable and able to personally convey our brand attributes – professional, knowledgeable, confident, honest, and trustworthy.

Strong social capabilities played out in building relationships with internal employees and senior stakeholders.

A lover of using technology in the field and an aptitude for system processes, development, and compliance management of online databases.

Good to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and strong initiative for self-learning as reporting requirements develop over time.

Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint for building client-facing presentation decks, as well as training materials for wider external teams.

High level of spoken and written English, and eye for detail in producing both internal and external copy. Native English speaker preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and meticulous personal admin.

Highly motivated and disciplined individual able to work on their own initiative and 'make things happen' through a determined resolute approach.
