About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of biological veterinary medicinal products in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment of quality requirements for marketing authorisations of biological veterinary medicinal products.
  • Manage and develop a team of assessors to evaluate the quality aspects of biological products.
  • Carry out assessments of certain applications and peer review those carried out by other team members.
  • Develop and implement national and international regulatory policies and guidelines for veterinary medicinal products.
  • Provide scientific and regulatory advice to applicants and stakeholders.
  • Lead on VMD's global cooperation initiatives in regulatory affairs and work-sharing across regulatory jurisdictions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical or veterinary industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements for veterinary medicinal products.
