Estimator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at RGB Recruitment. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, researching and gathering quotes, and monitoring costs on live projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties to ensure accurate tender submissions.
  • Review and evaluate tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy, administering correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain.
  • Organise and attend site visits with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure timely submissions.
  • Compile and provide detailed handover information for all successful bids to the Operations team.
  • Monitor project costs and assess business risk to ensure costs are kept in line with forecasts.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of estimating in a similar role, with experience in refurbishment and D&B projects within Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
