An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Outpatient Department Manager at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing outpatient services across multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and experience.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver effective and efficient outpatient services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare partners.

Requirements- 1st level Registered Nurse (Adult) or equivalent qualification.
- First level degree in a related subject or equivalent qualification.
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant subject.
- Advanced Communications Skills Training or equivalent.
- Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification.
- Management Qualification.
- Knowledge of cancer treatment modalities and services.
- Role of charities and partnership working in the NHS.
- NHS structures and functions.
- Relevant post-registration experience in cancer or a related specialty.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Experience of multi-professional working.
