Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outpatient Department Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outpatient services at multiple sites, ensuring effective team working, and delivering optimum patient experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage outpatient services, ensuring safe and effective practice
- Plan and coordinate clinical service provision, maintaining effective staffing levels and skill mix
- Develop and implement policies and services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Recruit, retain, and develop staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care
About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in cancer care, leadership, and management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1st level Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification
- First level degree in a related subject
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or a relevant subject
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Advanced Communications Skills Training or willingness to work towards
