About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organized Outpatient Receptionist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our neurology and neurosurgery departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception cover for outpatient clinics, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Manage patient appointments, bookings, and cancellations, using our PAS scheduling system.
- Process patient travel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Collect and organize case notes, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection guidelines.
- Liaise with colleagues, secretariat, and other departments to provide a courteous and efficient service.
- Provide cover for colleagues in the event of sickness and holidays.
