About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organized Outpatient Receptionist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our neurology and neurosurgery departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception cover for outpatient clinics, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Manage patient bookings, appointments, and travel expenses, maintaining accurate records and adhering to Trust policies.
- Process patient information, case notes, and other administrative tasks, ensuring confidentiality and data protection guidelines are followed.
- Liaise with colleagues, secretariat, and other departments to provide a courteous and efficient service.
- Provide cover for colleagues in the event of sickness and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- ECDL certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
