Outpatient Receptionist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organized Outpatient Receptionist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our neurology and neurosurgery outpatients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception cover for outpatient clinics, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Manage patient bookings, appointments, and travel expenses, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data quality.
- Process patient enquiries, respond to queries, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with Caldicott and data protection guidelines.
- Liaise with colleagues, secretariat, and other departments to provide a courteous and efficient service.
- Provide cover for colleagues in the event of sickness and holidays, ensuring continuity of service.

Requirements
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- ECDL certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
