We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Moore Kingston Smith. As a key member of our audit and accounts team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients in excess of £k, delivering multiple assignments to agreed deadlines.
- Report directly to Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners, providing regular updates on client progress.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including charities, schools, and membership bodies.
- Deliver high-quality audit and accounts services, ensuring compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and progress.
- Contribute to the growth and management of Moore Kingston Smith, identifying opportunities for business development and expansion.
- Qualified in ACA or ACCA, or internationally recognized chartered accounting qualification with at least years PQE.
- Experience of running own portfolio, with a minimum of % audit work.
- Non-profit audit experience, with a strong understanding of Corporate Tax and VAT.
- High level of familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage others.
- Ability to use own initiative, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, working with a diverse range of clients in the non-profit sector. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, to ensure you remain up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
