Non-Profit Assistant Manager

About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the non-profit sector. You will work closely with our senior managers, directors, and partners to deliver high-quality audit and accounts services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of non-profit clients, including charities, schools, and membership bodies
- Deliver high-quality audit and accounts services to clients, including job planning, budgeting, and time management
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Develop and implement strategies to grow our non-profit practice, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with clients and partners
- Contribute to the overall growth and management of Moore Kingston Smith, including participating in practice development initiatives and supporting the firm's values
Requirements
- Qualified in ACA or ACCA, or internationally recognized chartered accounting qualification
- 1-2 years PQE, with experience of running own portfolio
- Current portfolio must have a minimum of % audit work
- Non-profit audit experience, with a high level of familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage others
