**Job Opportunity at Adaptable Recruitment**
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims and Customer Service Administrator to join our team in a market-leading company in the insurance industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Verify the validity of claims by cross-checking information on our computerized system.
- Process valid claims efficiently and accurately using our computerized system.
- Communicate with policyholders via post or telephone to obtain necessary claim information.
- Update policyholder details and send out revised schedules as needed.
- Provide a welcoming, efficient, and professional counter service to visiting policyholders and other visitors.
- Ensure the visitor book is completed, post box is emptied, and claim forms received via the counter are logged on the system.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Keep the team leader informed of any unresolved issues.
- Provide cover on the Technical Claims team as required, handling deceased, personal/dental, hospital, and PMI claims.
- Provide cover on the Telephony team as needed, ensuring inbound telephone enquiries are handled in a courteous and efficient manner.
**Ideal Candidate Qualities:**
- High-quality claims processing, as measured by claims audit and error spreadsheet.
- Efficient claim processing quantity.
- Exceptional customer service quality.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Flexibility in covering Technical and Telephony teams.
